Reclaimed Round Table for Winterfest

This is going to be a table for display/sale at Bend Winterfest this next weekend. It is made with reclaimed steel and bronze and meant to demonstrate passive connections between disimiliar materials. The legs are red oak wood and all connections are gravity fed. This is the rough finished stage awaiting stain and patina. Look for the finished product in my portfolio soon!



 

Crystal Base Process I'm currently fabricating...

Currently I am in the process of fabricating a custom bronze base (the "talon" in the photos here) that will nestle the clear crystal (shown with it). The rod coming off the base of the piece will be placed in a hole in the blue stone (shown here also). The intent is to provide an elegant transition between two different textures. This project is fabricated and designed under the guidance of Larence Stoller of Lawrence Stoller CrystalWorks. Finished photos will be in my portfolio section soon!

Blown Glass Art Adventure

This past year, my wife and I visited the Oregon Coast. We were able to sign up for a blown glass class to create our own blown glass piece. It was awesome and I can't wait to go back. Here are a few photos of the bowl I crafted.
